Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?The Operational Resiliency Manager at RBC Investor Services will support the maintenance of Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Management programs. This individual will play a key role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks as well as ensuring the continuity of critical business functions.What will you do? Manage the fulfillment of the Operational Resilience framework, ensuring that the policies and procedures are met to effectively manage operational risks across RBCIS.Collaborate and coordinate with cross functional teams to facilitate risk assessments to identify and evaluate threats, vulnerabilities and interdependencies. Assess and Identify efficiencies across both Operational Resilience and Business Continuity programs intended to embed an enhanced resilience culture through designing, building, deploying and optimizing Operational Resilience capabilities.Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of Business Continuity program requirements. This includes updating Business Continuity Plans, Business Impact Analysis andThreat Risk Assessments to ensure the RBCIS ability to respond to and recover from disruptions.Assist with reporting metrics by monitoring the Key Risk Indicators related to Business Continuity and Operational Resilience.What do you need to succeed?Must-have3+ years of experience in Operational Resilience, Business Continuity Management, Risk Management or related roles within the financial services industry.Bachelorâs degree in business, Finance, Risk Management or a related fieldStrong analytical skills, with the ability to assess risks, analyze data, and make recommendations to support decision-making.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and Business Continuity Planning software/tools.Whatâs in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
