Industrial Projects Specialist

As an IP Specialist in the Industrial Projects team, you will coordinate, and control all activities associated with the shipping and logistics across all areas of supply chain management. Your passion for people and your ability to interact effectively are essential as you'll have daily interactions with project teams, other internal and external stakeholders and commercial contacts with (potential) clients. Additionally, you will uphold the project's quality, adhere to timelines, and manage the budget. The role is based in our Montreal office.IN THIS JOB YOU WILL:Coordinate project activities with customers, internal & external stakeholders. This includes progress tracking, reporting of issues & documentation of scope changes and approval trackingMaintain effective communication with customers, internal & external stakeholders, service providers and liaise with other locationsEnsure the project's quality, schedule, and budget are metCoordinate all ocean import and export for break bulk and projects shipments to & from CanadaCo-ordinate logistics service for the project up to destination(s)Co-ordinate operations with logistic teams at key locations, in close co-operation Project ManagerLiaise, in close co-operation with service providers to co-ordinate transport of cargo from ports of entry to final destinationEnsure ground level logistics planning and participate in co-ordination of all shipmentsEnsure project compliance with Customs and other shipping regulations, and adherence to Air/Ocean KPIsRegularly review KPI's with Manager to identify areas of improvementCo-operate, and work very closely with team members in other locationsEnsure 100% adherence to HSE requirementsYOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:Min 2 years' experience in project / freight forwarding including handling over dimensional-heavy cargoExperience managing IP projectsStrong operational skillsStrong knowledge of logisticsBilingual Candidate: English and French written and spokenYOU'LL BE REWARDED IN MANY WAYS, SUCH AS:Belong to a diverse and dynamic culture that promotes inclusion, growth and development opportunitiesEnjoy a flexible, hybrid work environmentCareer growth opportunities by being a member of a large Global organizationThe Freight Forwarding experts since 1815.
