Public Services Team Lead This is a temporary opportunity. The anticipated length is up to 18 months Job Details Reporting to the Library Services Supervisor, the Public Services Team Lead is a service desk team leader dedicated to front line customer service at the various library service locations. Qualifications Knowledge and experience normally associated with 2-year Library Technician diploma, or a combination of equivalent education and experience. Requires an individual who can contribute to the delivery of excellent customer service, with a broad range of computer experience including data entry, front end use of software running on various platforms, Microsoft Office use, and general contemporary technology troubleshooting typically gained from 18-24 months of on-the-job experience. An ability to read and understand operating and procedure manuals, AODA training, the ability to work effectively with the public and with people of all ages, demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, and an ability to perform a variety of tasks with minimal supervision is required. Knowledge of Library ILS (Workflows) is preferred. Additional training in standard library resources and database searching, current City policies/procedures, and supervisory experience is an asset.
