Our client is a well-established financial institution with a significant presence in North America. We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Lead to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and implement initiatives to achieve business objectives
• Decompose business requirements and translate them into detailed design specifications and code
• Evaluate the impact of design decisions on the solution/product/service being developed (e.g., performance, schedule, budget) and suggest alternative solutions if needed
• Recommend and implement solutions based on thorough analysis of issues and implications for the business
• Collaborate with subject matter experts across the business to gather input, plan development, define requirements, and set timelines
• Conduct independent analysis to resolve strategic issues
• Cultivate effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders to ensure alignment
• Engage with key business and technology stakeholders to define, analyze, and deliver requirements that meet both business and end-customer needs
• Assess the costs and benefits of different solutions and recommend appropriate designs
• Provide support for production issues, including root-cause analysis and diagnosis
• Develop solutions that are supportable, scalable, and align with our shared goals
• Recommend or automate approaches to streamline technological processes and improve operational efficiency
• Identify opportunities to enhance development capability through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and building communities of practice
• Stay informed about industry technical and business trends through participation in professional associations and individual learning

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering and or equivalent industry experience
• Demonstrated strong programming skills and hands-on experience
• Proven and demonstrable experience designing and implementing high volume, high availability applications with a very high degree of automation
• Demonstrate strong facilitation, negotiation, interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
• Demonstrate ability to easily deal with both abstract and concrete concepts and be able to reconcile them for the appropriate audience and context
• Quickly understand organizational dynamics and management priorities, and to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven company
